Egzaminy z nowych produktów nie sa oczywiście tylko domeną Microsoft. W tym miesiącu Novell opublikował wymagania dla certyfikacji z zakresu Novell Certified Linux Professional 11. Egzamin nie jest jeszcze dostępny (zdawać go będzie można w ośrodkach Pearson VUE). Zakres materiału jest calkiem spory, ale to w końcu egzamin administratorski:

Co ciekawe egzamin ten mozna zdawać na dwóch poziomach i w dwóch różnych cenach:
- Traditional Exams – dla certyfikacji Certified Novell Administrator oraz Certified Novell Engineer w cenie $125 (to tzw. egzamin uzupełniający dla inzynierów i administratorów Novell).
- Practicum Exams – dla certyfikacji Novell Certified Linux Professional oraz Novell Certified Linux Engineer w cenie $195 (to zwykły egzamin dla osób, które nie posiadają certyfikacji wymienionej wyżej).
Nie można też zapominać o Novell‘owym NDA, czyli: Novell Training Services Certification Agreement.
