[EN] TechNet UK IT Pro New Year’s Honours List

LOGO__TechNetTwenty Five Heroes. I’m very happy to know few of them, and I’m very sad to hadn’t chance to meet others. I hope in this year I wil meet some of those Heroes honoured by TechNet UK New Year’s list. I’m glad to know Jen Stirrup, James Rowland-Jones, Chris Rhodes andChriss Webb, I heard about Ed Jones, Linda Smith, Peter Bryant.

I really like this idea which came from Microsoft techNet UK. It’s really sad that I cannot find any of this honourable list prepared by Microsoft in Poland. We have a lot of great people and it would be great to honoured all of them.

  2. Mike Halsey (MVP)@PCSupportTV

SQLBits – 7 Wonders of SQL

DZIEŃ PIERWSZY – “Training Day” – Pre-Conference czyli warsztaty z kilku tematów:
Virtualization, SAN, and SQL Server: The Perfect Storm | Brent Ozar
Creating a Career Development Plan | Buck Woody
Implementing SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services | Chris Testa-O’Neill
Performance Tuning Analysis Services 2008 | Chris Webb
SQLCLR & Service Broker | Klaus Aschenbrenner
Secrets of the SQLOS | Maciej Pilecki
Fixing Queries through Advanced T-SQL Techniques | Rob Farley
DZIEŃ DRUGI – “Friday” – The 7 Wonders of SQL
zawierający 25 interesujących sesji obejmujących takie zagadnienia jak:
•Business Intelligence: Optimising SSIS | Advanced visualisation with reporting services | Master Data Services |  Stream Insight Deep Dive | Analysis Services tuning
•DBA: Replication best practices | Optimising Tempdb | SQL Server Internals | Scalability of OLTP systems
•DEV: Handling spatial data | TSQL Development best practices | Managing SQL Server Statistics | New data types  and programming improvements
o których opowiadać będą między innymi: Buck Woody, Thomas Kejser, Brent Ozar, Brad McGehee, Chris Testa-O’Neill, Simon Sabin, Chris Webb, Allan Mitchell, Martin Bell
DZIEŃ TRZECI – “Community Day”
